You can resolve your citation with TriMet by paying a reduced fine online or with a check by mail. Your citation may take up to 5–7 days before it is available for online payment.
A) Pay Online
You must pay the reduced fine amount within 90 days of when your citation was issued. Click on the link below to start the process.
B) Pay Fine with Check
First, please call TriMet Customer Service at 503-238-7433 (RIDE) to verify the amount due for your citation. (The reduced fine amount is usually less than the amount shown on your citation, so we want to make sure you don't pay more than you need to.) Then, write your citation number on a check or money order made out to “TriMet.” Cash is not accepted. Payments must be received and verified by TriMet within 90 days of the issuance of the citation.
